Russia has a lot of negatives, not the least being their weather (except Sochi area), but they're our best chance for nuclear war. Mainly though, Russia is morally the 'goodish' guy in defending against NATO attacks.

I condemn them for waiting 8 years, and for choosing attrition as their strategy. As the attacker and occupier of western Russia, the Ukrainians are not innocents who should be protected. The beach is further past the naval base on the penisula. The missile was clearly gps targeted to travel beyond the naval base.
