To anyone actually following along, Star Wars died in 1985 with their release of The Ewoke Adventure. Everyone else is just figuring it out now.

Are you talking about the made for TV series "Caravan of Courage, 1984"?

Or the 1985 "Ewoks: The Battle for Endor" TV special premier special that later got released in theaters in 1986, (which later got a part 2 "Star Wars: Ewok Adventures")

I think it died with the ending credits of Return of the Jedi in 1983. That was the last time that Star Wars was Star Wars.

I watched episode 1-3 just to see how they intentionally fucked up the golden goose.

The same Nigglette that chimped out in episode 1, does it again in episode 3. This time the Chimp Out destroys her home, 99% of her family, and yet it still fails to kill the only person she wanted to kill.
