Hoa's are for control freaks. There's one on EVERY single association board. I understand why they were started bc unfortunately there are fucking slobs who have zero respect for themselves or their neighbors who should live in a gd apartment! We had a rental in an hoa. Good God, the jackass next door walked past daily to find anything he could find to write a letter and complain to the board including the "correct front door handle". It was a blessed day when we sold that place!
I thank God daily for living on enough acreage, I don't see or hear ANY neighbors.
