There is a reason why it's being said the 'conscripted' are only given 2 months training before shipped off to the combat zone - likely because of zero live fire training, and when they do arrive at the line - they are deployed in front of the nationalist brigades that act as reserves but are actually blocking units.

They burned through 8000 of them in the past week. I don't know what most people there are thinking, but I did see a video a few days ago of around 15 of them escaping across the Hungarian border. They're putting up East German style checkpoints and fences along their borders now.
