We told the tech to start the tune at 1:35. As the line "working like a nigger for my room and board" from Davids lips hit the loudspeakers, at least 50 moms gasped, all pretending to not hear the word nigger for the first time even though it was falling out of the lips from the nigger music their sons chose. It was glorious, and hilarious. My son pitches, we struck out the nigger team and after the first time he went to bat they stopped playing his song, the silence reminded everyone why his song was simply the best.
