I am quite curious to the purpose behind the KIA Soul.

I think they put the bones of Americans in the cars they sell here somehow.

Honda is retarded. I can hardly understand how they became so vaunted or ubiquitous. They're idiotically engineered when you work on one. Like, why is that thing upside down, when the thing that failed is in a spot you can't get to in any way without taking everything else apart. Or why is this one silly bearing in charge of the whole transmission when it is a turd and I have to rebuild it at the side of the road with a rock [because I didn't bring a hammer] type thing.

I just fixed my stupid TL/s, and my closest friend KEPT commenting on just how retardedly Honda all of it was. What a day; I would have given up like TWICE, if he hadn't been there to egg me on to keep going. Stupid piece of crap. It's a cool car, with oodles of power, but it is front wheel drive, which pretty much negates that... but I digress.

We used to cobble together Honda motorcycles back in the 80s that he had collected, because he was cooler and more happening than me and had that epic junk collection, but I still digress...

My dream car would have everything accessible to remove/repair. And it wouldn't have any tracking bullshit in it either. All primary functions would be mechanical, secondary things like audio or windows are fine to be electronic.

They had durable motors for many years. The automated manual transmission is also interesting. I probably wouldn’t buy one built after 2015, but for a long time they were easy to work on.
