New York Times isn't fit for the bottom of a birdcage.

That's sad. The NYT and WSJ used to be excellent sources of used newsprint.

Aren't these the papers that broke the AT&T spying program of the late 1990s?

They either had to get ahead of the story to control it, or they wanted us to know. I'm betting on option one due to how wild the internet was back then. They didn't have the controls in place they do now.

Surveil the government officials. Make them do random drug tests. No dual citizenship. Hold them accountable for everything they do. Random audits.

And that's just a start. Though I believe the rope is inevitable for all of them. They can't help but lie, cheat, and steal.

All congresscritters, senators and reps, should have to clock in and out of their office every day like any other employee.

There should be a live webcam in their office so any of their bosses can look in at any time and see them at work.

They should have to wear a locked body camera that broadcasts live during the working day.

If they are "offcamera" at any time during the working day, then they are also off the clock, and their pay docked for that break time.
