Little known fact: Hawaii is not covered by NATO. If ukraine enters NATO before Hawaii, well that's just garbage.

TIL that Hawaii is NOT part of the United States, which IS part of NATO.

Sadly, even though the US is part of NATO, and Hawaii is a state of the US, Hawaii does not count as part of NATO pact. So if Hawaii gets attacked, NATO is not required to respond.
