It's been more than 20 years, and I haven't been awakened in the middle of the night for a desperately important talk since. Helped me develop what you could call a rather strong appreciation for peace and quiet.

Smart move. Take em out right then and there and you save yourself tons of grief. I was still a trainee at the time.

So far it's worked but just in case you ever get yourself in that position again my advice is go full throttle. They'll think twice before saying texting that again.
