I spent some of my Easter break in the pool. Had fun. Not drowned.

As for water depth affecting survivability, if you have to get down on your knees and bend over to place your head under water, water depth matters.

I don’t know much about physics, but maybe someone who does can perhaps correlate the drowning to a lack of shit in the water making it less than ideal conditions for them staying above it?

For whatever reason, Indians just can't swim. There has been numerous drowning incidents down here, mostly Indians.

The bizarre thing is that very often they do stupid shit, even knowing they can't swim - going out into rips,swimming at lonely beaches, jumping into deep water and so on.
