3rd Generation warfare coming to an end??...maybe for now but not for good.

Once electronic warfare is more advanced we will return to low tech tactics.

A million chumps have probably been maimed and killed by towed artillery. So what’s the problem? Did they give all of our shells to Ukraine and Israel?

Not mobile enough. Gotta be able to shoot and scoot. Drones are tearing up artillery emplacements. Everyone is transitioning to faster wheeled artillery with self loading like the BAE Archer. They are quick enough to deploy, fire several rounds and get mobile again that the target will still be taking fire as the self propelled howitzer leaves the firing position.

Well stated. When your multi-million-dollar artillery piece (which is incredibly accurate and effective) is easily destroyed by a little kamikaze drone with some C4 strapped to it, you need to adapt. There are shitloads of videos of both sides using kamikaze drones to destroy the other side's equipment and vehicles; they tend to drop the grenades/mortar shells on infantry, since they wouldn't have that much effect on sturdy equipment.

Strategy games may have influenced the way I see things like this, but I think in any given war there is the "big picture". The winner is determined by who has the will/resources to stay in the fight longer. Using something that costs less than $1,000 (a drone with C4 attached) to destroy something worth millions of dollars is a MASSIVE win. And you don't even have to endanger any of your own men's lives when conducting these operations.

Drones will change warfare forever, it's frighteningly effective how much havoc a single cheap drone the size of a basketball can cause.

That's just a single one. Once you have million-drone swarms controlled via multi-level AI programs... Shit's gonna get real. And you know they'll use that to kill as many White men as possible.

The problem with AI is that it goes both ends. If they manage to get such a perfect AI up, a less efficient but competent one will be much more of a threat, since we are in an era where cheaper and numerous wins the tech war.

Perfect? Hell no, you just need a specific AI to handle a specific problem. Layer them into their areas of specificity, and you have a large system able to handle large data-problems. Like deploying, communicating with, and aiming a million suicide drones.

In this case I'm talking about low-level AI, basically decision engines that are heavily programmed and tested ahead of time to handle a specific task. We already have the tech for this shit, we just have to hire enough competent White men to build it.

Anti personnel drones are cheap, the Shahed drones are $50k at least. Russia was paying $200k each before they began manufacturing them domestically.

$50k is cheap. And it'll likely get cheaper.

Cheaper than the target, sure. But as ECM advances the drones will also get more expensive. The most advanced munitions have become rather expensive because armor improved. It will happen to drones too.
