So it's time for another Friday Night Guitar Thread! Welcome to it and we'll go ahead and get you started...

Once upon a time, we were on Voat. We hosted the guitar thread on Voat for many years - until the end of Voat, the very last day.

That's when we moved to Poal. Their admin decided on a Shoah for us but this song (picked for a reason) was the very first song we shared on Poal as a new FNGT. That's right, the first guitar thread on Poal included this approrpriate song and quote:

"This track was one that has been in the works for quite a while. Then, Voat was closing - so we put a rush on it. Alas, we had enough tracks at the ready, so this doesn't get released until today. But, it'd have been rather fitting for the last FNGT on Voat.

You know where all of your tracks are, more or less. You just have to remember the email addresses 'cause there's a limited number of minutes you can upload for free.

But, you've consistently used SoundCloud. All of your tracks would be there, in one account or another.

I have archives for mine, plus there are some that are uploaded. (Not all of 'em are uploaded.)

But, I started saving my intro text very early on.

The first one I saved was like 10 paragraphs long and was one of Biff's very first songs.

Of course I want to hear it!

And yeah I can find a lot of my songs on soundcloud but it is difficult being that I have so many different ones. I just started the 20th account this week. That means there are 19 of them with 3 hours each of me and my friends making music. Thats a fairly prolific output. The FNGT site is so much better for finding particular songs though and I use it all the time.

That's a fuckton of email addresses.

I'm surprised they don't check IP addresses and cancel some of your accounts.

And, https://share.fngt.gq is all automated. I don't do anything to it. I upload and it automatically adds the song to the category I chose. If I choose to create a folder, it adds that as well. It's pretty fucking handy but it's not maintained. It was the only script of the sort that I could find.

I didn't want to write it all myself. I don't have time (or skill) enough for that. I have modified it quite a bit, which I do have the skills for (as long as they're basic edits).

Nope. That site shut down years ago. It was awesome. It was the first site I used to share my tracks.

I tried a few others after they shut down. They kept nailing me for copyright strikes. So, now I just host my own shit and call it good. I use a script that keeps the HTML updated automatically. I upload a track and it appears in the listings. So, it's good enough and doesn't require any effort on my part.

But, no... No, that link will no longer work.

Damn that was good. Nice to hear some Led Zeppelin. Those guys were pretty good. I go back and forth into who's the best band. Beatles, Zeppelin, Stones. British dudes. Zeppelin blows them away musically but I love the melodies the Beatles make.

Saw a movie today called Ford vs. Ferrari with Chritian Bale and Matt Damon. All about racing and making fast cars to beat Enzo Ferrari at the 24 hour Le Mans. Fast as fuck man. 7000 rpms. Phew!

That's a good movie - and one of the few movies I've seen.

And, it's hard to pick a 'best band'. There's a 'best band at the moment' for me. It'll vary, depending on what I'm in the mood to listen to.

Hello everyone. Last night I was talking to my friend Chris on the phone, he hasn't been over here to jam with me in a month or so, and we got to talking about Verle. Apparently Verle been robbed again by some woman he invited into his home hoping to get lucky with her. Chris said I should write a song called Buying Hookers with the Disability Check. Since there was an acoustic guitar in my hands and beers in my belly, it came right out.

Then my girlfriend said we need to make one called Got Ripped Off By A Prostitute. So we did LoL
