Why be upset about it?

Its all part of the plan. Self manufactured food crises requires Solutions™️

full episode of above clip. Squirrel tribe on youtube. some of her less fear porn based episodes are pretty good.

She's not wrong especially on the Wheat thins comment she made. I was wondering what was going on about a year or so ago when the action alley, an end cap and a whole aisle was full of the goldfish crackers.

She's right about throughput too. The incentives for the food industry are all screwed up.
Manufacturers are incentivized to shorten expiration dates, but also incentivized against products that actually expire.
Points-of-sale are incentivized to limit shelf time and write off large quantities of product. A lot goes to salvage.
Places that distribute salvage (often nonprofits) are incentivized to show how much they've "helped" the "needy".
The whole thing is incentivized to squeeze every penny from as little actual food as possible, so you get the greatest quantity of the least healthy things at the highest possible price.
A system of absolute anti-nourishment.

Incentivation to shorten expiration dates makes sense! I have noticed canned goods having way shorter expiration dates than before.Instead of the 5 or so years they used to have now its a year or two (maybe). Reason I heard was "less' preservatives being used. hilarious.

Yeah, that has to be BS. The shorter they make the dates, the more product they force stores to discard. Good eye, I'll see if I have some old cans to compare next time I'm digging through the pantry.

Well why walk in the fake food isle?

To remind you why you knock your pan out growing your own, keeping chickens etc. Because that is the alternative - no alternative at all

But saying modern food full of toxics and carcinogens is making us fat and sick is “propaganda” according to some here

The trick is to realize all the food is near the walls of the store and everything on the shelves is Goy-Chow™️
