trump (and every single other candidate from 2016) was trying their damnedest to boilerplate emotions and arguments and speech used by the Third Reich without saying that that was what they were doing. Killary did it incessantly. then, when they couldn't assume the controls of what they see as "magical political absolute powers" they tried forcing the idea that "fascism and nationalism" don't work, again, without saying that that's what they were doing by essentially skipping the intro paragraph of an essay and just reading through the middle of it and also not reading the conclusion paragraph. they think this is super clever

"make america great again" is a play on "make germany marxist free" it's cringe all the way around.
