The correct answer is New Zealand! (They don't arachnids the size of tyres!)

My favorite quote from the article:

“Intense local pain is the key thing here,” Professor Fry says. “It’s basically like putting your [genitals] onto a welding torch.”

Well SIGN me up for THAT! NOOOOO Thank You!

And the answer is: everything in Australia.

He put the box jellyfish at number 5, the stonefish at number 4, and the Hemsworth brothers at number 3.

Coming in at #2, the Sydney Funnel Web Spider, followed by the Queensland "Sawtoothed" Vagina.

I can verify that the Tasmanian jack-jumper is a nasty piece of work. You could be working in the garden and not realise you'd disturbed their nest until they were half way up your leg at which point you frantically take all your clothes off!

Cynabuns speaking: "yes paul can be a dreadful pain. It's like he has no self-awareness!".

Do plants next. Love those clips of people purposely touching the gympie gympie

"It kills its prey by digesting them to death, and it really, really hurts to be digested to death.”

Luckily where I am we don't have all those vermin. The worst thing that can happen to us is being bitten by a mosquito in the summer. But as is known, this is not fatal.

Could catch Ross River from one, not fatal but fairly debilitating

Dude...I lived in Australia from April 07 to Oct 09.

In Kenmore (suburb of QLD) and I got to see these things! Saw this spider that bit sideways. Not like a normal spider.

And bit through fucking steel toes.

Sae this video on there version of PBS, was filmed at the gold coast.

"Bloke" got hit by a box jelly on his face. They are small by the way, they got his ass out the water and he was screaming.

Hooked up a heart monitor to him, dude was a flatline.

Screamed for maybe 20 more seconds and stopped.
