There's London, then there's the city of London.

One is the entire city, one is a municipality of jews who run the place

The city of London is a very old institution.

It is 'independent' because it is older than the UK, by a lot.

In 1066 William the conqueror was the last person to successfully invade Britain.

However he was unable to take the city, which had walls and defenders.

He attempted a siege, but this proved difficult, also the city has prepared, thus there were plenty of supplies.

However time was not in the side of William, after all, you can't say you've conquered a country, without it's capital city.

So a peace was negotiated, the general gist of which was: the city accepts it is a part of England and that William is the king of England, but it does not accept William as king of the city and William to give up any and all claims to the city.

And so it came to be.

The Lord Mayor is voted for by the trade guilds

There is a guildhall, and it set the template for modern parliaments.

'public' buildings within it, are actually private property

It's surrounded by army based and forts (not for its own protection), and the reason the tower of London was built

None of their current governments are older than the city - because everything except the city got reset with the doomsday book.

The phrase 'time immemorial' which has legal standing does not apply to the city.

You clearly know nothing

It’s the financial headquarters of nearly all the banks within ‘the mile’ or ‘City of London’. The cabal created sovereign city states like this to circumvent the laws and taxation they applied on the cattle. See also, Washington DC, the Vatican, Monaco, Hong Kong and Singapore etc.. These are playgrounds and safe houses for the elite.

Heard today that apparently Lord Rothschild was given a vote in the House of Lords and he only used it twice.
Once for some war time thing, and once for mandatory milk pasteurization.

Don't forget the City its own system of local government and its own police force, separate from the rest of the London conurbation.
