It's not that! He doesn't have a regular job like the average Joe-schmoe. He loves that job, and worked his ass off to get it. Everything is recorded, and brought before a tribunal (of sorts). He has to defer to the Tower, he can argue it later, but, real-time is NOT the time to have a discussion about right or wrong. Shame on the aviation industry for flooding their ranks with unskilled & unqualified ground support! The Tower should ONLY be staffed with retired pilots, people who have actually flown a damn plane!
