I've heard similar. WTC was originally built in Jew York at the height of the mafias influence in construction in the city. Mafia wanted ongoing minor problems with the building so they could spend the next few decades charging New Tork taxpayers 1000% markups fixing said problems.

So they got their contractors to cut corners and build it cheap and shoddy. An example might be that although asbestos based fire retardant was allowed in construction of the WTC until 1971 and was allegedly completed up the 64th floor there was a large and famous fire in the WTC in 1975. It was started on the 11th floor.

I've heard investigations following the 1993 bombing showed not only significant defects in respect to code in the fire cladding, but signs of metal fatigue in some of the upper floors structure and support beams. This would have shortened the buildings usable lifespan by a significant amount. My understanding is that the buildings open plan design meant the perimeter was prefab modular in nature. As such costs for in situ retrofit would have been staggering, likely as large or larger than a rebuild. (Minus demolition and site recovery costs of course)

It is impossible for an aluminum plane to fly into and through a steel framed building. The engines might make it a good distance, but the plane itself would fall to the ground in a crumpled mess. Since that did not happen, its hard to believe that jet air planes were involved. Missiles perhaps, planes not a chance. Israel would not sacrifice its top Mossad agents in that manner.

It's just as impossible for 30 floors of less solid building to crush 80 floors of more solid building below without being crushing itself to dust after the first 30. Basic physics states that force is applied equally in both directions, but not that day!
