No, there is merit to this comment, a well equipped studio could clean this up. But really? Is that necessary, I love the original sound and am tired of the polished music.
A halfway decent player can hit chords without that telltale buzz indicative of a sloppy player who half remembered the chord at the last second. Don't make excuses for bad playing.
I liked it and it was fine. Rusty or not I didn't see anyone else post one to be criticized. I know you're going through stuff, so anything helps. rusty or not. Keep up the good work, bro.
Yeah need to jump into the chorus sooner (the intro ring out is that in a different key), cause I wanted a different flow beginning with one go through of each verse progression, then dminor prost chorus...
Hey man nice tune, I like the walking bass. I would make three recommendations.
1. Like snark said, shorten it up a bit. 2. Dangus made the comment about buzz. There is something to be said about organic unprocessed music with "artifacts" (fingers sliding on strings or your buzz). That is what you have produced. There is also something to be said about good technique. I think that with some more practice you could clean up the sound a bit and retain the acoustic live sound. In other words, I agree with him about the buzz I think it detracts from enjoying the music. For me, at least. 3. Do a better job tuning your guitar man. Maybe you have an old beater that is in tune open strings but out when you play certain chords. If that's the case a tech might be able to do something for you by adjusting the bridge or nut. If you don't care that much maybe tune the chord that matches the key of the song. It wasn't terrible I'm just anal like that. Frets are double edged sword because you don't have to worry about intonation, but you also can't fix intonation.
Rusty fingers are better than fingers that don't play.
PS I'm not a guitar player at all so take my comments for what they're worth.

I would say maybe Nirvana unpluged meets Toy Story.
Consider shortening it a bit...
