They'll have to do that or keep paying more in taxes to keep replacing equipment. If the repairmen just say no, either in solidarity(unlikely) or due to fear(very effective), then you have something.

Just checked this out and they're not normal police cameras they're cutting down, it's mostly cameras monitoring vehicle emissions in some zones in London. Carry on cutting these down, I'm ok with that
