modern retail practises are gonna make me commit a hate crime i swear.

i get to the store, i ask em hey this thing you have on your website, is it available, they tell me no, ill have to order it, so i ask if they can order it from the store, they say we'll check. nope, apparently its some third party seller thats website only, meaning that the store cannot order something it has access to, somehow.

so i stop by the bank, i say hey i wanna buy something online, can i get the details, they tell me the main account type there doesnt work for online payments, that ill need a credit card. somehow my debit card wont be valid

i ask em can i get a credit card in time for christmas they tell me probably not

so now instead of walking into a store, paying the money to them that i have for the thing i want, i gotta go get a credit card or make a paypal, ill probably miss the sale, and ill probably need to order it online from someone, but sure as shit not (((best buy))) apparently, it seems.

i blame this all on the jews.

if a store i visit literally cannot be arsed to sell something they say they sell, why the hell should i make an online account with them? clearly they dont give a shit

They've all done this by now. Amazon seemed to be the first. I remember Sears doing this. Walmart. Target. Home Depot. Lowe's. I imagine every single one does now. The website is not for the stores, it's just a general marketplace that bears the same name.

It's because shipping is subsidized in this country so instead of buying containers off china, unloading them into a warehouse, reloading the goods into a truck, paying the gas to get it to the store, unloading a truck, maintaining a store that can be stolen from, hosting a bathroom, and paying for snot nosed retail worker's whose productivity can't even be tracked; They can all just become drop shippers for China. Between chinese shipping subsidies and American shipping subsidies it costs them nothing.

But of course we're still paying for it. USPS's price fixing to promote stay at home culture is going to give us all communism. If we just end the USPS this insanity can end. But their prices are set by congress even though they have independent finances and Amazon is never going to let congress raise them. Fucking price fixing communists.

The shipping subsidies, that is, US citizens subsidized every package shipped from China to the US that was under 4.4lbs, ended with the Trump administration. What kind of person would have a credit card? Their site says stores accept visa and mastercard, among many other options. His debit card is likely to be one of those, so it makes no sense that they turned him down.

Oh wait, it's his bank that's saying their accounts don't work online. Guy should dump his bank back in the 90s and get a credit union.

Merchants are unable to distinguish credit and debit cards, so as long as you have a card from one of the major companies then your debit will work exactly the same as a credit card. You just need the funds in your account before they authorize. Whatever your bank is telling you is wrong and stupid. Ditch them and switch to a credit union.
