Japan has approved the world’s first self-amplifying mRNA (sa-mRNA) COVID-19 vaccine, although the manufacturer has not published safety or efficacy data for the shot.

Tokyo-based Meiji Seika Pharma received approval for manufacturing and marketing its Kostaive sa-mRNA COVID-19 vaccine, the company announced in a Nov. 28 press release. The mRNA in the vaccine is designed to self-amplify when delivered into cells, which generates a “strong immune response and the potential for extended duration of protection.” The vaccine is intended for primary immunization (2 doses) as well as booster immunization in adults. Kostaive is the "world's first approved product applying self-amplifying mRNA technology," according to the press release.

So why can't they program this shit to target cancer cells instead of the rhinovirus variants of which they have identified at least 120 different types of, if they indeed can be modified and programmable.

I haven't researched this and no, I didn't read the article, it's just a passing thought.

your guess its as good as mine. but i dont think this is about combating any viruses but trying to mod your DNA

That's a good point but the question that I asked could probably be used with modifying your DNA to attack cancer, as well. But I'm not in any way shape or form a scientist who studies this type of virology or the like. It is an interesting topic to ponder on though.

Yeah, I get it, Goat. I was just basically rambling and thinking to myself. Don't mind me. lol The devil's lettuce does that to me occasionally and I was pondering the possibilities and just typing my thought process out, Sorry about that.
