That shit reminds me of Minion from Twisted Metal

[ - ] bonghits4jeebus 12 points 5 monthsDec 1, 2023 01:06:40 ago (+12/-0)

Interestingly, 1/4 mile is also its range while towing a 911

The truck bed is almost big enough to carry the portable diesel generator you'll need to keep it moving all day.

I had another thought: Ford and Tesla realized the same thing that in order for ppl to have everything they want in an electric car it has to weigh 10k lbs. And then at that point it's better if it's a truck for tax purposes.

"almost". Everything tesla is this.

I look forward to the desperate move of "get a free generator with your new EV".

It's the only way you could use an EV in half of the US.

Someone is going to be selling that kit, because running out of battery juice is a thing.

I don’t see where I can put a lumber rack to haul 16ft boards, like you know, what you use a truck for.

[ - ] mikenigger 2 points 5 monthsDec 1, 2023 01:33:40 ago (+2/-0)

looks more like a kid's size swimming pool back there

[ - ] Crackinjokes 1 point 5 monthsDec 1, 2023 09:38:04 ago (+1/-0)

You know what's funny but of all the trucks on the road that I've seen today and I've seen pickup trucks everywhere I have not seen one single person with the lumber rack hauling 16 ft boards.

[ - ] bobdole9 1 point 5 monthsDec 1, 2023 10:01:19 ago (+1/-0)

I want full size beds to be the standard again. Full eight feet.

[ - ] TheOriginal1Icemonkey 1 point 5 monthsDec 1, 2023 11:12:41 ago (+1/-0)

Yeah, but that sure beats when you see the guy at Home Depot with lumber strapped over the cab of his truck because he lacks a lumber rack.

Cybertruck is for idiots in California to pose driving around to city. Not a working mans truck

[ - ] Nosferatjew 3 points 5 monthsDec 1, 2023 04:39:47 ago (+3/-0)

Don't care. EVs are gay.

[ - ] paul_neri [op] 2 points 5 monthsNov 30, 2023 23:34:29 ago (+2/-0)

Dude, what can I say. This isn't a mere truck it's a status symbol like the Range Rover.

[ - ] Spaceman84 5 points 5 monthsNov 30, 2023 23:49:32 ago (+5/-0)

Range Rover is the worst piece of shit you can buy that wasn't made in China or birthed by your mother.

WPD disagrees.

It's a wind up toy. A wound up spring could accomplish that sprint too.

In other words, Elon Musk has solved all of his fanboi's problems. And his haters... what do the haters hate more than a fancy pickup truck? A fancy sports car.

Either way. you know when OJ Simpson heard about this, he said, "Sign me up!"

It's just what some niggers need to get away from the cops. They'd be missing the boat by not marketing accordingly.

[ - ] SocksOnCats 4 points 5 monthsDec 1, 2023 01:29:38 ago (+4/-0)

Yeah... All that and all that's promised and I still don't want it.

I don't want a fucking electric vehicle. No thank you. I recognize the benefits of using electricity for propulsion - it's great. But our battery technology sucks. Unless a vehicle has a real over 1000 mile range (in all weather conditions) and can charge easily and in short time, I don't want it.

People who get all wet and sticky for electric cars need to get over themselves. The battery technology isn't there yet to be pushing this crap on humanity. It's doing more damage than it could ever repair.

[ - ] Crackinjokes -1 points 5 monthsDec 1, 2023 09:36:19 ago (+0/-1)

You can get a 75% charge in 15 minutes now on all the newer Teslas. That's already a thing.

[ - ] SocksOnCats 0 points 5 monthsDec 1, 2023 12:00:56 ago (+0/-0)

And what's the range on that 75% charge? I guarantee you a) It's not as far as Tesla will tell you and b) fast charging yields lower battery absorption so even lower range. Fuck that 75% shit.

[ - ] Anus_Expander 0 points 5 monthsDec 1, 2023 13:51:37 ago (+0/-0)

You will wait for hours at the few charging stations, if you can find one that even works 🤣

[ - ] Crackinjokes -1 points 5 monthsDec 1, 2023 09:37:20 ago (+0/-1)

Dude you can hook it to some solar panels and depending on how many you can drive 20 to 40 miles per day for free forever.
No gas car could do that.

[ - ] SocksOnCats 0 points 5 monthsDec 1, 2023 11:59:47 ago (+0/-0)

And how much does it cost to set up that solar array? And what range does the vehicle get? The math just doesn't work.

[ - ] nephileon 0 points 5 monthsDec 1, 2023 12:07:43 ago (+0/-0)

Lol... no.

[ - ] Crackinjokes 0 points 5 monthsDec 1, 2023 09:38:36 ago (+0/-0)

All you haters are going to be running to me to get in my bulletproof cyber truck that I can hook to my solar panels and spread them out on the ground and drive another 40 mi even if the world ends and there's no gas at the gas station.
