A quick fact check. Ford did not lose $800M in 2022. It actually made $23BILLION
in Q3 of 2022.

With CA going all Electric by 2035 there is no crash market, at least on the west coast.

If I had to buy a new car, I wouldn't look at brand, but the following criteria:

No piece of shit automatic rear hatch opener. I want to slam that motherfucker. I've used cars with those and I end up getting mad and swearing at the car.
Manual parking brake that clicks.
A dipstick.
Physical buttons, no software buttons
AWD
And it can't have any feature that annoys me into doing something which I can't disable (like seatbelt chime or driver face scanner)

Ford is an automatic failure in that regard. As they have a homo parking brake in every new model.

That's no hint... you drive a Subaru. Good luck finding a new vehicle with physical buttons or analogue guages. Everything is TFT display and most of the controlls are through the infotainment spyware's menus now.
