Inflation is not about full employment or wages and prices. The root of inflation is simply that the money supply is larger than the products and services available. In the old days, if you stopped the presses at the Treasury, inflation becomes zero, followed by deflation. Today, it's all just numbers on computers. They just make it up. Inflation follows.

The real honk-honk is that that kid was continually molested while working on that show.

Without reading the actual article that was posted earlier, could it be that they mean corporate greed and their price hike beyond inflation?
