Graphene peculiar electronic structure, and the ease of modulating it due to its being only one atom thick, makes vast future possibilities of using various graphene-based catalysts.

Today's industrial application is still limited by the lack of fine control of such graphene-supported single-atom catalysts, but,,,

The article lists some of basic possibilities of usage, and if you have some imagination, you can scroll it trough with thinking about possible Maui-like induced fires, or possible future usage of such catalysts incorporated in organic molecules, viruses (they did this already), and living or hybrid organisms...
