I worked a number of sucides. And not once did I see more than one GSW to the head to finish the job. Ever.

I did see a number of "attempted" sucides go to the ER that had fucked up the angle and managed to just fuck up their face. But none of them ever tried a second one to finish the job.

It was either:
1) "BANG!", job done, fade to black, or,

2) "BANG!", "OW! SHIT! That fucking hurt!" That usually sobers them right up, and then they go to the ER, stuck with the sure and certain knowledge that now there's just one more thing that they're no goddamm good at.

Two to the head should be an immediate indicator to any investigator that's even half awake that there is fuckery afoot.

It's a message to any investigator to tell them to completely fuck off and not look into the investigation

Not firsthand, however I have seen videos where military (Russian) off themselves with their automatic...the one video he had three bullets fire into the guy's head.

Now, since dude was military, would not be surprised if he managed to shoot himself twice in the back of the head.

The new hotness with the Russians is to just hold an RGD-5 up next to the ear, near the hinge of the jaw.

No fucking around.

I have a 1911 that easily double taps.

You mean it fires twice when you pull the trigger twice? That's how it's supposed to work. If it fires twice on one pull then you have a technical difficulty with your pistol that we will not address here.

Know what happens when a shot hits the cranial vault? Particularly a contact shot, as most suicides are? Because the bullet alone isn't the only thing going in. That's just the beginning.

Now imagine the high velocity column of expanding powder gases following along closely behind it, following the path of least resistance. And the secondary fragments of skull that are also coming in, like the glass shards of a broken window. Into an enclosed environment that's only a few inches across, containing a material that is mostly water.

You'll have "tattooing" around the wound from the powder gases getting into the skin, and you also have some "blowout" from when the expanding powder gases hit equilibrium and then some of them blow back out of the hole they just went into (if the GSW isn't a "through and through", then they just keep going).

Ragdoll. Everything heads straight to the floor because all voluntary muscular actions cease instantly and gravity takes over. That's why if you find a guy sitting in a chair with a hole in his head, and the gun still in his hand, you're looking at a homicide, not a suicide. Because somebody would have had to put the gun into the corpse's hand.

Try it. Sit in a chair. Put a clear and safe weapon to the side of your head. Then just go limp and watch what happens to the weapon.

Yeah, I didn’t think when I made that comment that you’d agree with me. The 1911 isn’t at fault in my scenario, it just has a way overworked trigger and I’m not used to it yet. However, I have a Glock that does awesome doubles when you want it to, but you have to make the effort.

The trick to getting quick follow-up shots with the Glock is in 1) regaining your second sight picture after each shot (one shot, two sight pictures), and, 2) training your trigger finger to find the trigger reset point, and then to only come back to that point before beginning the next trigger press. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSLKRz4dIVQ

The Macbeth Gambit is blaming an innocent dead party for murder as has happened in the Benazir Bhutto, John Kennedy and 911 cases - He was a nobleman in King Duncan’s Scottish Court, who slew the King and two of his loyal retainers in dead of night, then when morning came told all the retainers had done the deed..

That he had killed them in just retaliation and was thereafter crowned King himself, he did not get away with it and eventually met his own death as he had lived, by the sword wielded by Duncan’s more loyal kinsmen who told Macbeth just where he could shove his story, and who made immediate war on the new King. Wm. Shakespeare, The Tragedy of Macbeth.

It sounds like the gambit could be in use here, the case against Robert Card relies on assertion and one photograph that could have come from anywhere .. no blood, no bodies no grieving relatives just assertion .. I'm not buying.

Golly!

But do we ever so wanna post on this!

But :
Grampy-bone &
The Malkavian Whispering Cobweb say:

“Too soon! Too soon! Not long, but another Moon; mayhap a few; most likely New!”

Many are those who travel by day;
while others only travel by night:
Yet some are so obfuscate,
they shun moonlight.

Not human! Not demon!

Lest they be caught.

Believing they

are secret;

though

they

are

not!
