There's no way jews are dumb enough to take ground troops into Gaza when they can knock their glass-like buildings down from a distance. I'm guessing those reservists are coming up to get rid of local arabs.

Vast tunnel network in Gaza. Blowing buildings is mostly for show. Reservist don't have uniforms, equipment, even food. Israel was not ready to call them up.

Most of the reservists are fumbling, inbred gimps who will only be exposed to the "threat" of unarmed civilians.

I'm willing to bet that 85% or more of the fighting will be done with Airstrikes, Drones, Mortar Batteries, and Sniper teams.

They have to make an effort to rescue hostages. When that fails they'll have lost some (disposable) troops and have even more excuse to raze the area.
