Eventually, after my buddy contacted the Texas Attorney General (after the tenth time they shorted him in the span of six months) they got their shit together.
Yeah, it turned out they shorted a bunch of employees and former employees. The state fined the company pretty good. The company apparently had a history of fucking over employees by shorting their pay.
I could put every single person I know that held Bitcoin on any kind of storage medium in one room and ask everyone to raise their hands if they were ever the victim of theft. The entire room would raise their hands.
