There are a lot of burned millionaire properties in that video. Susceptibility to wildfire is based on a lot of factors, but proximity to other fuel sources and resistance to burning embers are among the most important.

That's the dry side of the island, and similar to here in California where it doesn't rain for around 8 months. Stuff gets pretty dry. Add wind to a fire and it's going to take off.

Everyone loves the vegetation around their house right up until it's on fire. Then it's too late for creating your 100 foot defense zone.

Fuck yea man they had this tech 20 years ago!

That might be the single worst Bond movie. Madonna (not only "singing" but "acting!"), Halle Berry, Pierce Brosnan... bad writing, bad special effects... still can't get the taste out of my brain.

Way to Many things that don't add up.

You sound logical and reasonable but to many videos of locals who know the area saying this is not natural. And how has this never happend in any meaningful way on this super dry side of Hawaii? I mean 8 months no rain this should ne a tinder box that can go up in flames every other year?

You sound like a reasonable person but also you sound like someone putting out control information.

Could I be wrong? Of course maybe this was just the most magical natural disaster we have seen

Questions does the volcanoes only have lava flows on the wet side of Hawaii

There are way less odd facts here than the Vegas shooting.

I can see how this happens. Lots of wood construction, lots of shanties, high winds, dry. I also believe the government is totally capable of botching a response without it being part of a plan.

Yes the main thing about this is the government can't control the wind. But I mean if you set a fire in the right conditions and don't stop it, you can take advantage. Given the wind, any kind of spark could've done it by any kind of motivated individual or by accident. Starting a fire is sure an effective way to destroy stuff, if extremely untargeted.

Really, you have to look at what was done in response.

Oddly enough the guy overseeing this investigation with the media blackout over saw the Vegas investigation with the media blackout.

Whos Ray Epps?

I wouldn't be surprised if every house there was over a million. Oh look:
The median sale price of a home in Maui County was $1.0M last month

[ - ] Sector7 1 point 1.7 yearsAug 18, 2023 06:28:33 ago (+1/-0)

In July 2023, the median listing home price in [Mytown], CA was $1.6M, trending up 7% year-over-year. The median listing home price per square foot was $883

Median Sold Price $1,349,000 $842/sqft

Even pricier here in California, although the water is so cold a wetsuit is required.

I really, really, really, really, really want to absolutely KILL everyone who shoots videos in this retarded vertical extreme aspect ratio. I mean REALLY I honestly want to kill them.

I would rather watch a video filmed with a potato than endure 3 seconds of vertical slit video.

Where the fuck did the fire enter that down town area? Looked like it was isolated by fields and water?

[ - ] CRKT_M16Z 0 points 1.7 yearsAug 17, 2023 13:34:42 ago (+0/-0)

Just a friendly reminder that taking videos in vertical format is nigger tier IQ.
Horizontal videos are white tier IQ.

People with money tend to build houses out of plastered cinderblock/brick/stone. The roofs often are clay tile. Their properties have automatic sprinklers that keep the lawn and bushes hydrated.

Not surprised. The governor there is planning on stealing people's land for "Smart Housing"?

[ - ] JoesLegHair 1 point 1.7 yearsAug 17, 2023 15:32:44 ago (+1/-0)

Could be interesting to map out the houses that didn't burn and then check to see who owned them and if they had anything in common.

I think we'll find the members of the Big Club or at least their lackeys.

[ - ] whitemail 0 points 1.7 yearsAug 17, 2023 15:56:52 ago (+0/-0)

It's a Big Club, and we can clearly see who is and isn't in it.

cramped shithole favelas vs spaced out properties with watered lawns

gee i wonder why

[ - ] drhitler 0 points 1.7 yearsAug 17, 2023 19:20:08 ago (+0/-0)

and most people won't be able to afford to rebuild, they are going to make all new expensive housing standards cause of "climate"

[ - ] Clubberlang 0 points 1.7 yearsAug 17, 2023 23:05:28 ago (+0/-0)

Don't worry they'll rebuild with a 15 minute city.

For the greater good.

Ron aka CodeMonkeyZ made an interesting post regarding fires in Maui, about a cluster of military satellites around earth that are controlled by an AI called "SENTIENT", which is able to predict future events, analyzing potential problem areas around the world before they become problems:
https://twitter.com/CodeMonkeyZ/status/1691659538204635531

made me look even more into quantum dots.

actually didn't know they already sell "quantum dot solar cells" with QD crystals absorbing much broader spectrum of sunlight in low-light conditions... so one can only imagine military already has some powerful absorbers of invisible part of spectrum.
well not saying it happened in Maui, but it can be done.

The jew fires know who's unvaccinated bigot!

It's a unprecedented arson of the unvaccinated!!

If you'd just mask and castrate your kids climate change wouldn't be so sudden!!
