The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that it struck a base where foreign mercenaries were located in the region of Zaporizhia.

The videos show at least two rockets leveling the Reikartz Hotel in the center of the city of Zaporizhia on the banks of the Dnieper River.

According to Turkish sources, 45 mercenaries from NATO countries were killed instantly while 70 were injured. The hotel, as seen from the videos and images released so far, was leveled.

The Ukrainian air defense did not have time to react, nor did the air defense sirens sound.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that the Air Force struck a location where foreign mercenaries were located in the Zaporizhia region.

"In the region of the city of Zaporizhia, a temporary deployment site of foreign mercenaries was hit," Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konachenkov said.

At the same time, a new video of the Russian missile hitting Zaporizhia appeared on social media.

It shows a rocket leveling the hotel.

According to the Russians, "while initially, the Ukrainian side stated that the strike took place at a civilian infrastructure facility, it later released information confirming that the 'civilian infrastructure facility' was turned into a military one by the Ukrainian military command."

The Ukrainian side says that "volunteers, including foreigners" were staying at the hotel. Locals report that many hotels in Zaporizhia house military personnel, including foreign mercenaries.

The Reikartz hotel was used to accommodate the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and mercenaries who arrived from various countries of the world, including foreign instructors," the Russians conclude.

Meanwhile, information about the death of the officer of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine Pavlo Tulaydan was confirmed. Tulaydan, with the rank of major, served in the military unit A0515, which belongs to the Ukrainian GUR.

He took part in a number of sabotage and operations, had connections with foreign intelligence services on the territory of Ukraine and was trained abroad. The local authorities of the Yasinsky community of Transcarpathia confirmed his death.

MiG-31K aircraft took off from Savasleyka airfield to launch four hypersonic Kinzhal missiles.

The first explosions occurred in the regions of Vinnytsia and Kyiv. At 10:18 there were reports of the first explosions in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, the Russians hit major logistics terminals in the industrial zone of a cement plant near the city of Yamnitsa.

This is where military cargo from Europe is received and further distributed.

In the Vinnytsia region, where the first explosions have already sounded, there are also logistics nodes, as well as fuel storage facilities. The 48th arsenal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the radar base of the 748th radar are also located here.
