I would not be surprised if they added code to make it invulnerable.

Sorta like how in "the last of us" where they were going through a Jewish temple and coded it so that it was impossible to fire on any jewish holy symbols.

If you tried to shoot at the symbols, your gun would go down until you were off of the symbol.
