Well, it's in Acts. As in "Acts of the Apostles". The Apostles were Christian Jews. So, Christians accept that the Romans persecuted Christians in Rome, who were, that time, Jews. That is, if any Christian ever actually read the Bible to be aware of what is in it. Which no Christian in the history of Christianity has ever done. Because to do so would break the spell cast by the Jew.
