Its not a gun to the head, but then again a gun to the head isn't the same as holding you down and injecting you. However it is under threat of losing your job/income, by extension your livelihood and ability to provide for your family.

Denial of services, denial of opportunity for kids to join extracurriculars, denial of religious services/community, threats that parents would eventually be deemed to be abusing children by denying the shot and for them to consequently have their kids eventually taken away, demeaning additional measures like masks and tests for nonjabs, constant allusions to eventual job termination with no hope for unemployment insurance coverage or work prospects, being accused of being a threat to society worthy of a China-style gulag, denied work promotions by being deemed untrustworthy due to resisting the shot, threats of constructive dismissal within a workplace because you were no longer allowed to travel to work locations, having bank accounts frozen if you protested... all with the promise that it all go away if you and your family all got the shot and boosters.

You may have been lucky and experienced none of that in whatever insulated bubble paradise you live in, but many people were put in a circumstance where the coercion was real, the threat of being homeless and on the streets without support was real. For anyone that built up their careers around a profession that mandated the shot or unemployment, they really were forced. Not with a gun behind their head or a bent arm, but let's be real, if you were eventually sent to a jail for not complying with the shot, do you really think they will give prisoners a choice? There was a risk for nonconformance that was sufficient enough to push people into accepting the risks of the jab. Some people stared the bull in the eye and resisted the threats, but the resistance was very real. The gamble was real. Being told that there was never force or coercion, or trying to down play it as "only peer pressure" is either gaslighting or from the experience of someone with extreme levels of blissful ignorance.

To deny that the jabs were being forced is to deny the willpower that the unjabbed possessed in order to resist it.
