One thing no one notices is why is “Barbie” a middle aged woman? Obviously she is supposed to be early twenties or even teens.

It’s because it’s targeting millennials.

Why would they morph a story just to target an odd demographic? Because they whole thing is programming.

If you’re a millennial in particular and watched this movie congrats you took their Barbie vax and there is no undoing it.

They wanted her to appeal to White females, because its about disintegrating bonds between genders. If Barbie had been struggling against opression she would be black, and Ken would be White. If they had kids and were happy they would both be black. See how this works?

I bet you anything that the movie studio is WB, and when they signed Margot Robbie for Harley Quinn, they were expecting the DCU to take off like Marvel did.
So, they signed a 100 movie contract with her.
They were expecting her to be their Iron Man.
So, when the DCU flopped, they still had her signed for 50 movies.
They had to do something with her, or default on the contract, so, why not Barbie?

She's going to be THE Hollywood White Woman for the next 10 years.

Unlike some other recent movies the makers of Barbie didnt want to advertise it's woke message in advance so that parents would let their guard down and allow their daughters to attend.
