Im interested in the behavioral effects of these genes. For, instance did MFSD12 spread in the tropics because of a behavioral advantage like increased aggression? They usually say the spread of SLC24A5 and SLC45A2 were due to a more grain based (low Vit D) diet but perhaps people with those genes are just more cooperative which was a useful strategy in densely populated agrarian societies.
Heres a graphic I pulled off wikipedia of the hypothetical spread of “white” pigmentation alleles in western Eurasia, just for fun. People will dispute some of the assertions and dates, Im sure. Its just the current consensus, whatever that means
Also, evolution's goal is not to make you "smart" or capable or anything like that. it's just to ensure that as many spawn of yours survive as possible, whether that happens by popping em out in Africa or what.
So people claiming to be more evolved may not be claiming what they want.
