I've never seen anything to indicate that. I'm quite wary of AI demonstrating any sentience or even cleverness. I don't see it.

It does find patterns in data that humans can't see. For instance, AI will analyze many possible designs for like a propeller and come up with one people may not have thought of. It does that by brute force. But it only solved a problem that you set up for it.

Most cleverness we see in AI in the few cases we do see it usually comes from reinforcement learning. That's not what LLMs like GPT have. Yeah, they are going to do a reinforcement phase with it starting nowish but I still don't think it will make it clever. That's just going to hone its current behavior. It's not a problem solving kind of reinforcement learning.

You know I could have taken a job in language AI 17 years ago? I guess i'm the dumbass, although I never really tracked what happened to that corpo. I turned it down because someone else offered me more money, and the work seemed like more fun.

I intend to try to make it in AR instead.

Inboard or outboard joint? Cause tripod bearings usually just cause massive vibration when they start pitting the cup. The outboard CV joint can make the rapid clicking sound, and it can also make a whooshing sound similar to a wheel bearing. It would have to dump most of the grease for that to happen.
