I support this for the mentally ill. I had a crazy aunt. She was committed to Rusk, a mental asylum, three times. When they made her take the drugs, she would get better and could recall doing things when she was crazy, and she would praise the meds. Once she was ‘cured’ they would release her with a prescription and it was up to her to medicate herself. Everytime she would convince herself she was cured, stop the pills, and go crazy again.

Crazy people live in hell, and it doesn’t go away. And they make life hell for strangers and especially those that try to care for them. We need asylums, like back in the old days. But without the barbaric shock therapy, lobotomies and ice water dunking.

At least cancer kills you. Mental illness just chips away at you until you shoot up a school. Lock em up, medicate them, once they’re lucid, give them a choice. Live here forever.. or we set you free with a prescription, but if you fuck it up a few times, you get put down
