He was screaming "daddy angry! Daddy angry" as I tried to get him ready for bed. I had to leave the room for a moment before I taught him "daddy enraged".
It's great that he's able to identify feelings and to express that recognition at such a young age.
They can definitely be trying at that age. Busy as all getout. Unless that energy is channeled into some sort of harmless play activity, it will manifest as them being full of monkey mischief. Hell-bent on either killing themselves or destroying whatever happens to be within reach.
For extra bonus, try raising a few of them at a time, 1-2 years apart.

Not sure if this is your first rodeo or not and, for those who don't know, they usually calm way down at around 4 years of age.
They'll still find plenty of mischief to get into, it's just not quite as rapid-fire.
My wife struggles with this. She can't get our boy to sleep some nights because she didn't get him outside running around enough. I can't blame her for that though, being two weeks from delivering our second boy.
I tell her, just set him loose in the chicken pen, the dog will cover him if the hens try to get him.
The couple two doors down have awful trouble with their f..king kid. It howls at night and keeps me awake. They only have one - a little boy. They are solid folk but I can tell it even gets too much for them at times - they both work.
2 years is to young to send them off. When mine were in that range @2-4 I stopped working and just lived with them. I was "dad". Best time of my life. Literally. Precious years that go by too fast. I was lucky to have busted my ass, got lucky, and done some real estate deals that allowed me to do it financially.
