Downvotes are a part of the site. Suppressing down voting has been tried, look at poal. Removing voting would turn this place into a message board. Youtube cucked and removed downvotes, which made the place worse. I think being able to display dissatisfaction is just as relevant, if not more than displaying satisfaction. True democracy.
