Everything about the Koko the gorilla sign-language story was total bullshit

submitted by Sheitstrom to whatever 1 yearApr 24, 2023 00:54:30 ago (+36/-0)     (bigthink.com)

https://bigthink.com/life/ape-sign-language/

Koko's last sign-language message was "help and protect the earth". The one before that was presumably "please keep funding sign-language studies for apes". Your Bullshit-o-meter should be at 11.

Edit: At the time, I believed the story. It didn't seem impossible. I didn't think everyone would collude to just make that shit up. Then I recently read about Koko's last "message to humanity" was to save/fix the planet. Umm...there is no way that was true. And it wasn't!

Of course it was. Animal brains don't have the language processing abilities. It was just another psychological abuse to make not jews think they're equal to animals.

For crap's sake! the bimbo that created koko the talking gorilla made female staff members show the gorilla their nipples. She said koko insisted. nutballs from the social science faculty who see nothing but what they want to see.

Staying on the subject of female primate handlers and their sexual degeneracy, wasn't it reported that Jane Goodall let her chimps fuck her?

There's a dog proven to know thousands of words.

Koko likely knew some number of words. What else, it's hard to say.

Being able to associate words with objects and actions is still a huge gap from being able to construct sentences.

Also, how would you feel if you didn't eat breakfast this morning? Language can get quite complex.

Animals can be trained with words and signals. If you've ever seen an animal show at sea world or whatever, it's pretty amazing their capabilites. But as far as understanding monetary concepts with job functions in a sentence... That's pretty far fetched.

Still smarter than niggers.

That's a pretty low bar to be fair

How's the Royal Rife therapy working for you man?

[ - ] I_am_baal 1 point 1 yearApr 25, 2023 04:34:15 ago (+1/-0)*

It's working pretty well; I'm using a zapper too along with supplements and a handful of other things. I'm rifing basically any time I'm asleep. I've been making a lot of progress over the past two months especially with a few periods of time where my symptoms were almost completely non-existent, and all of the pathogens are slowly disappearing from my scan results.

Time will tell though; recovering from lyme is a very non-linear process; it's a challenging disease to treat.

Colloidal silver kills everything. Have you tried it? You have to swish it around in your mouth for 10-15 minutes 5 times a day when you're sick. It absorbs through the soft tissues in your mouth. Kills bacteria, viruses, mold. I make my own.

[ - ] I_am_baal 0 points 1 yearApr 25, 2023 14:47:16 ago (+0/-0)

It's definitely on my list of things to try; it tends to be helpful combined with Rife therapy too. I've got everything I need to make both colloidal silver and colloidal gold. I just have to verify that I don't have any mercury in me before that treatment option is completely on the table. I am trying to be somewhat conservative with what all I put my body through while trying to hit these things. So, I'm gonna give my current regimen some more time to see what all it accomplishes and modify the treatment from there. I've got some other interesting technological ideas to try out too including high strength pulsed magnetic field therapy.

A multi-pronged approach will defeat the bacteria before it has a chance to mutate from your one-at-a-time attack. If you attack too cautiously you'll give it time to get clever.

[ - ] I_am_baal 0 points 1 yearApr 26, 2023 05:34:16 ago (+0/-0)*

I am taking a multi-pronged approach currently; I just haven't used colloidal gold or silver yet. It's definitely not a one-at-a-time attack plan. I'm usually killing them directly with at least 4 or 5 different things with another cluster of things serving more of a supportive role. I'm just not mentioning absolutely everything. Another factor to consider is die-off. My current treatment methods are producing enough die-off that I have to back down from killing things a bit pretty regularly so I'm not overwhelmed by it, which can cost me months of recovery with no pathogen killing and ultimately set me back (ask me how I know). I'm seeing a lot more progress with what I'm currently doing than I've had with anything else I've tried so far. If I add more killing modalities on top of it, it may actually slow me down with the additional die-off. I will potentially add things like that as the die-off becomes less of a limiting factor, and if I'm not successfully hitting everything I need to hit with everything else.

You went to war, glad to hear it. Godspeed.

Thanks, fren

Great article thanks. If non-human homonins really grasped the concept of abstract language, you would think they would be able to teach it to each other and use it without human prompting. I.e., you could teach sign to the chimps in the primate house at the zoo, and then you could view them use it with each other when the keepers were not present. Theres never been a documented case of this, AFAIK.

On a related note, my pup reads me like a book. I run all kinds of little tests to see what words he understands. He understands alot.

Sometimes he will “talk” to me. Especially when Im on the phone, he will sit nearby and mimic me with a sort of mumbling sound. He mumbles when ever I speak, he stops when I stop speaking. He’s a weird dog.

Your pup just wants to be like you and join in. Absolutely lovely.

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 0 points 1 yearApr 24, 2023 17:59:36 ago (+0/-0)

My old dog used to grunt and grumble to "talk" to me. Some dogs recognize the difference between them and not-them, and see the need to communicate their wants/needs to a separate being. Some even pass the mirror test.

There's a surprising portion of niggers who don't.

[ - ] Crackinjokes 1 point 1 yearApr 24, 2023 07:36:36 ago (+1/-0)

Certainly heard this argument made before. But I think the preponderance of the evidence if you look at it shows that he clearly had some understanding of the words he was using in the words other people were using and they actually did a few tests to rule out the fact that he might just be aping the people who are talking to him.

And by the way when you start analyzing human communication you find humans do a whole lot of aping of other people's communications as well.

Good. Now do Hellen Keller!

Koko was still smarter than any nigger , and smelled better too

[ - ] BushChuck 0 points 1 yearApr 24, 2023 10:41:41 ago (+0/-0)

Man, that monkey was sad as fuck when her pet cat died.

Not total bullshit, but "save the Earth" is definitely nonsense. Way too abstract.

Koko sad.

Your dog can bark all he wants, but he never can say that he lived a honest life.

[ - ] PostWallHelena 0 points 1 yearApr 24, 2023 11:00:21 ago (+0/-0)

Because he’s lived a life of crime. Everyone would know he was lying.
