The malware starts by disguising itself as a screensaver app that then auto-launches itself onto Windows devices.
They're leaving out a few details. Sounds like it needs to be given access to a machine ie installed. It's not difficult to write something that does what was described here, nothing mindblowing or dangerous or that would even be able to spread in the wild.
The only thing novel about this is it demonstrates that you can write some pretty basic code using chatgpt prompts, which we already knew.
This isn't some new super deadly hacker AI. It's just a journalist exaggerating a security firm's marketing blog.
