Good on im! I can't stand dogs/dog-walkers either!I was having a nice cup of tea in the park yesterday and two DW walked by and their dog did a crap in front of me.At least they scooped-the-poop but still!

Kangaroos are nothing like in the cartoons.
They're basically just meth heads.

[ - ] AryanPrime -2 points 2 yearsApr 12, 2023 09:05:40 ago (+0/-2)

so a poison and detriment to society?

Wouldn't it be more accurate to call them kikes? oh wait. kike_foo doesn't like reminding us that it's people are parasites who should be shot on sight

Anything that stands like that in my driveway gets the 270WM

[ - ] MuricaPersonified 1 point 2 yearsApr 13, 2023 00:06:05 ago (+1/-0)

Nice, but why such a niche, expensive cartridge for what is an oversized rodent?

[ - ] Zyklonbeekeeper 2 points 2 yearsApr 13, 2023 15:05:36 ago (+2/-0)

I reload my own ammo and the .270 is one of my favorites...@65 years old I don't think that I'm going to be able to shoot off all of my supplies before I "check out"...besides, I love the aroma of IMR 4831

[ - ] MuricaPersonified 2 points 2 yearsApr 13, 2023 15:52:18 ago (+2/-0)

I always wanted to get into reloading and playing around with cool ammo/wildcats. With the lack of primers and prices of powder nowadays, it'd be hard to make a return on the investment.

[ - ] Zyklonbeekeeper 1 point 2 yearsApr 13, 2023 16:51:22 ago (+1/-0)

My buddy who owns a gunshop warned me months ahead of time that primers and powder was going to dwindle so I stocked up, and heavy....I kinda went overboard on my .50BMG supplies, I don't think I'm going to go through 15lbs of BMG50 powder plus the 1,000 rnds already loaded...BUT...I will state that reloading will cut one's ammo cost by 70%...on a 20 count of .30cal rnds in 30-06 I'm about $12.00 and 300WM about $15.00...the .375mag gets expensive, 78grns of IMR4350 powder as opposed to 44grns 3031 in 30-06...I shoot cloverleafs at 200yrds and at 600yrds I'm in a 4" group within center.

[ - ] MuricaPersonified 0 points 2 yearsApr 13, 2023 18:07:59 ago (+0/-0)

Nice! Distance shooting with factory ammo sucks, and match grade is overpriced when you can find it. Not like I'm any good from the shoulder; left hand has a minor tremor. Still, woyldn't say not to some perfectly measured 300WM.

There's a Hornady reloading book somewhere around the house, given to me by a friend who's got most of that brand's equipment.

Dunno, maybe it's not too late.

[ - ] Zyklonbeekeeper 1 point 2 yearsApr 13, 2023 19:00:10 ago (+1/-0)

@Murica...anything you need to know about reloading just ask here and I'll help you out but just getting started will run you about $3,500.00 in basic bench equipment, maybe a bit less...I've got over a quarter million invested in firearms and reloading gear and have been into it since 1976...I don't think that there's anything in the game that I'm unfamiliar with at this point so you can be assured that you're being properly informed.

Thanks, I appreciate that a lot. My collection is modest in comparison. Maybe $20k, tops. Mostly an assortment of common chamberings. $3,500 sounds about right for the setup from what I've seen my buddy purchase.

The thing I always found interesting about Kangaroos is the evolutionary process which turned their rodent ancestors into 6 foot plus tall bouncing roid rats. There were once animals on Australia so dangerous, that rats evolved to be bouncing marsupial roid rats to survive being preyed upon by them. And following the disappearance of these predators, these guys just leap into the top position mammal second only to humans.

As Tyrone would say, "damn, nature. You scary."

[ - ] UncleDoug [op] 2 points 2 yearsApr 12, 2023 08:14:32 ago (+2/-0)

They are actually marsupials and not even slightly related to rats, they actually shrunk as with the North American Opossum. One of their ancient ancestors was Procoptodon goliah, weighing 200–240 kg (440–530 lb).

Kangaroos also wade in lakes so they can drown people and animals

That's cute thinking we care.

I wouldn't imagine it being too difficult to light the kangaroo up. But then again this is Australia we are talking about here

[ - ] Ozark 0 points 2 yearsApr 12, 2023 05:11:33 ago (+0/-0)

Just kill it and don't tell anyone.

If only they has a device to send this to the pearly gates.

Nevermind they're a castrated obedient people that would rather die of a bioweapon to show compliance.

I guess if you keep telling yourself that it might come true one day...

How's your stolen election btw?
