You take the hands off at the wrists, the feet at the ankles, you gouge out the eyes, tear out the tongue, and cut off the nose. Then you cauterize it all, so they do not die. This results in inescapable agony in which the victim can neither kill themselves, nor beg for death. You may need to take the arms and legs as well to make it actually work, but you get the point.

Once that's done, you just give the father to the bastard son to take care. No further work needed on your part, and the son has a daily reminder until he decides to put his father out of his misery.
