In Super Mario Bros.(2023) Luigi gets kidnapped instead of Princess Peach. Princess Peach becomes badass and helps Mario to free Luigi. That\'s basically all you need to know.
There used to be enough subtle adult humor and scenarios in a kids movie to keep the parents interested. Now the adult content is made specifically for the kids.

I was playing Mario with my daughter (she's around that age), and I had the realization that it's one of the last bastions of non-woke injected shit. Sonic movie naturally got niggerfied, but that was just the side story/supporting cast. At least the main story characters were still basically true to form. But Mario doesn't have a black character yet... I'm eagerly awaiting it. I know it's a Japanese company, but I guarantee you some Jew on the American side is, right now, threatening to cut off the market if it doesn't get niggered and/or trans'd up real quick. It'll probably be one of the toadstools.
Anyway it's funny the Mario franchise would do this now, because Peach could FUCKING FLY in Mario 2. So it's not like they needed to go overboard and make her a Mary Sue, but I guess Mario didn't need a movie in that regard.
Anyway I'm with /u/AngryWhiteKeyboardWarrior - why would you even watch it? Don't take your kids either.
She also has a lot more powers than that, in our world she'd be overpowered, but you need to compare her to the other residents of her world, and compared to them she's a lightweight, not the weakest but far from the strongest, she's a sheltered monarch who often needs protection from her kingdom's many enemies.
Her strength is in the magic she wields which applies more to ruling her kingdom than to direct combat applications.
For example she has the power to heal the toadstools that get transformed into bricks and blocks.
Her father rarely appears in the games and she's often left in charge of the kingdom while he's away.
The logic to making her a badass in the movie was that she needs to be strong to lead her people, and that's poor logic on two grounds.
First she's a monarch, she was born into this role, second the strength of a ruler is different from physical combat ability, by your logic Donald Trump should be capable of kicking the asses of the cops who arrested him because he used to be president.
Very often there were leaders of contests who were physically weak or disabled but no less capable leaders for it because their minds were strong.
Princess peach toadstool was meant to be the classic damsel in distress, she wasn't supposed to be a powerhouse on the battlefield, she was also someone who abhorred fighting, often agreeing to be kidnapped just so she could avoid having to harm someone, even hurting feelings is something she'd prefer to avoid.
Damn man, this is good pre-writing. It's got good lore, the characters have strengths and weaknesses that bear out in a logically-consistent world in which they're created. Tell me you're not Jewish without telling me you're not Jewish.
I also don't know where you got all of this Mario lore. I was mostly a Sega kid growing up, so I probably just missed it in the Nintendo Powers or instruction books or whatever. Anyway, typical Hollywood taking good source material and twisting it to unrecognizability.
