Hershey is a disgusting chocolate. It tastes like rotten shit to anyone who was not brought up eating hersheys.

It used to be made from rotten milk, then when they figured out how to keep milk from rotting their consoomerbase of idiots preferred the rotten milk version. So now hershey makes their milk undergo lipolysis on purpose so the fatty acids in the milk decompose, resulting in a rancid, or 'goaty' taste.

So when Europeans taste hershey they are disgusted that it tastes like puke. And when a hershey eating American tastes normal chocolate they are too used to eating puke and cannot enjoy it.

perfect opportunity to let Hershey destroy itself and another reasonable company fill the vacuum. The history of chocolate (especially Hershey) is quite interesting. I'm in Ecuador. tons of chocolate here obviously, but it's almost as if the people don't appreciate it as much as us americans do. of course mos of it is exportedd. Hershey is imported here, nobody buys it because the heavy tarrif, and everyone thinks it tastes like shit, so it sits on shelves and collects dust here.
