I do the roundhouse style. The germans call it a holzhausen. Thanks for the book.

Would you find that the inner wood takes nearly twice as long to dry/season? That's one complaint I hear about that style; but only with people who want quicker results rather than to let the wood season for a long while.

I leave it for a while and it seems fine. Usually around 17% water content
