Russia has had military service for fucking decades and isnt magically just drafting people suddenly out of the blue. He has been sending his military to wipe out literal nazis who use people who self describe as ethnic russians in majority Russian territory for over a decade as meat shields and artillery practice targets. Meanwhile 'Ukrainians' keep on going on video thanking Russians for liberating them from a 'military' who keeps on shooting them for attempting to leave combat zones.

Meanwhile Ukraine is quite literally lynching people off the street and throwing them in the back of vans to serve in a low grade redneck militia whose life expectancy in that active military service is 4 hours all at the behest of..... the United States.

So you can mark another demoralisation tactic off your list as completely ineffective.
