@3whurrs Yes. Most had healed up. There is a famous photo of Rudolf_Höss (Auschwitz commandant) who had what appears to be @30-40 tiny knife stab wounds on his face after interrogation. The English major in charge of the interrogation, a jew himself, bragged that to track Hoss down they first found the wife and kids. Stripped the boy naked, took him in another room, and tortured him until the wife couldn't listen to the screams anymore and broke down and gave hoess's location up.
