I'm not watching it because I don't have time, but I already know statins are bullshit due to a cardiologist explaining NNT to me and telling me statins have an NNT of well over 100.

NNT is number needed to treat. Basically how many do you need to treat to prevent 1 adverse using the drug.

It takes more than 100 patients taking statins to prevent ONE coronary.

Aka it has less than 1% effectiveness. Pretty much just random luck really.

Also, stints do nothing for mortality, they only decrease discomfort.

Out of curiosity, I'm trying to verify this with literature. Haven't found it yet.

"Statins: Then and Now"

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6489607/

"The Scandinavian Simvastatin Survival Study (4S) was the first prospective randomized outcomes trial with a statin, and the results were remarkable.22 All patients enrolled in 4S had established coronary artery disease (CAD). After 5.4 yrs of follow-up and a 25% decrease in TC and 35% decrease in LDL-C, the following outcomes were significantly reduced: all-cause mortality (30%), risk of a major coronary event (34%), CV mortality (35%), stroke (30%), and coronary interventions (37%)."

What were the actual numbers of candidates involved ?/ Their ages . How many died if any. What was their cause of death. What is their health like now ?.
Why only 5.4 yrs of follow up ?.
Many patients supposedly take this medication permanently ...

It says that was the first study. I gave a link, the paper includes more studies and other details. You can research more as you please.

All Govt authorized agencies have been utterly captured.
Believing this bs without due diligence is like believing their covid data nonsense.

I looked at those studies - no where does it actually produce numbers that died only the percentile obfuscation.

All studies can be gamed by parameters and methodology et al.
Failing to include all pertinent detail of raw numbers (not ajudusted for population etc) is joo bs.
Keep your joo misinformation to yourself.

fun fact. Up to 30% of your cholesterol is found in the brain - it is literally what makes up brain tissue. Taking a drug that inhibits ALL cholesterol (both good and bad ) is very very bad for later cognition, brain health and function etc etc .....

I have a very high “bad” cholesterol and very low “good” cholesterol. I’ve always been this way. Back in my 20s, my doc saw this and told me to work out more. At the time I was in prime shape and going to the gym six days a week for 2-3 hours a day. I was working out crazy hard and my body was fantastic.

Now just over 50, doc says the same thing and tells me to take a statin. I was hesitant but went with it. And immediately I felt like shit. Low energy and achey and I couldn’t figure out why.

A couple of months in, my pharmacist (who’s super based) tells me that if I’m feeling shitty and/or achey I need to tell the doc and get off the statin. So I tell the doc and he BEGS me to keep taking the statin. He switches me to another statin and lowers the dose.

A couple of months later after another blood test he tells me my “bad” cholesterol is massively lower. I never felt any difference. Maybe ate a little better.

I’ve stopped taking the statin now. Interested to see what happens. My diet isn’t bad. I don’t get enough exercise now, but I’m far from a hamplanet.

Read a lot about statins and how they’re bad. Doc told me he didn’t know anything at all about statins being bad. Seemed very suspicious to me.

I need a new doc.

I had high cholesterol once and sometime after the test I started eating eggs everyday for the protein. Six months later the doctor measured the cholesterol again and this time it was fine. Eat eggs.
